NGO Peace Alliance

An Alliance of Non-Governmental Organisations in Ireland

Home

The NGO Peace Alliance was set up in September 2001 to promote a peaceful resolution of conflict.

Specifically, it promoted a peaceful response by the U.S government to the  terrorist attacks which occurred at that time.

This alliance was one of the three organisations which organised Irish peaceful opposition to the military invasion of Iraq in 2003 and the continued  use of Shannon airport and Irish airspace in the prosecution of this war by the U.S. military.

Currently it is involved with other peace and justice organisations in Ireland in working for a peaceful resolution of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.
